Accountant

Our client within the Insurance Industry is looking to recruit an Accountant to join their growing team.

Main responsibilities include :

• Prepare monthly management accounts accurately and on time.
• Monitor and reconcile bank and investment transactions.
• Review and reconcile balances related to insurance and reinsurance activities.
• Coordinate with third-party insurance managers to ensure timely submission of monthly accounting data.
• Calculate and submit Solvency II regulatory returns in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Support the preparation of other regulatory filings, including Solvency II reports.
• Assist in the annual budgeting and financial forecasting processes.

• 3+ years working experience within the finance function
• Previous experience within the Insurance Industry will be considered an asset

• In possession or in the final stages of obtaining an Accounting qualification (University Degree, ACCA or equivalent).
