Accountant

Our client within Financial Services is seeking an Accountant to join their growing team.

Duties include:

• Assisting in preparing forms
• Manage all accounting transactions
• Publish financial statements in time
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely bank payments
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
• Assisting in preparing management accounts as requested
• Preparation of scheme of distribution
• Overseeing Bank accounts

• Minimum of 2 years of experience within an accounting function in Malta
• Reliable, high level of integrity and work ethic
• Ability to work on own initiative

• Partly qualified or in advanced stages of ACCA
