Accountant

Our client is an international company operating in the Travel and Leisure industry. They are currently seeking to recruit Accountant to join their growing team.  

Duties include: 

• Checking and posting of invoices
• Preparing weekly payment run
• Preparing bank reconciliations
• Preparing sales invoices
• Preparing of payroll journals and upload files
• Ensuring that all Balance Sheet accounts are reconciled monthly
• Reviewing and approving of month end inventory and processing in accounting system
• Preparing depreciation, accruals, and prepayments journals
• Preparing monthly vessel accounting
• Communicating with vessel Hotel Managers and Assistant Hotel Managers
• Obtaining a sound understanding of different VAT jurisdictions
• Liaising with auditors during year end audit
• Working with Peers at Head office, Malta office and Vessel team
• Working on other reporting as required

• Minimum of 2 years of local experience within an accounting function
• Ability to prioritize workload and delegate tasks
• Able to work in a team
• Knowledge of MS Office software
• Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skill
• Willing to travel once or twice per year

• Fully qualified through ACCA or equivalent
