Accountant

Our client, within the property development industry is seeking to recruit an Accountant to join their Finance team. The selected candidate will be reporting to the CFO and will have the following responsibilities:

• Supporting with the day to day accounting activities 
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets
• Making sure the general and sales ledgers are kept up to date
• Compiling of management accounts
• Monitoring cash flow
• Responsible for credit control
• Submission of VAT forms and responsible for other tax related duties
• Monitoring and suggesting improvements for internal controls
• Any other duties which may arise from time to time

• Minimum two years experience working in a similar role
• Possess excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
• Ability to perform under pressure and to adhere to tight deadlines
• Meticulous with an eye for detail

• Fully locally qualified accountant. Candidates who are in the last stages of ACCA will also be considered
