Accountant

A key client of ours, specialising in the Manufacturing industry is currently looking to onboard an Accountant to join their team of professionals:

Duties:

• Lead month-end reporting, budget preparation, provision of information, and ad hoc reports for respective Business Unit
• Ownership and support of the standard costing model and process, providing accurate information for costing, sales/cost of sales, and other reporting purposes
• Ensure compliance with Finance guidelines and internal controls are inline
• Ensure accuracy of Nominal Ledger through balance sheet reconciliations and other financial controls
• Be involved in direct and indirect tax submissions
• Act as co-pilot for operational managers, preparing KPI dashboards and analysis for review
• Preparation of labor and material variances to standard; understanding the key drivers and working with the Departmental Manager(s) to identify and implement improvements
• Prepare new job costs for approval in line with the Site governance process
