Accountant

Our client is an international company operating in the Travel and Leisure industry. They are currently seeking to recruit an Accountant to join their growing team.  

Responsibilities: 

• Checking and posting AP & AR invoices 
• Preparing weekly payment run 
• Preparing bank reconciliations 
• Preparing sales invoices 
• Preparing of payroll journals and upload files 
• Ensuring that all Balance Sheet accounts are reconciled monthly 
• Reviewing and approving of month end inventory and processing in accounting system
• Preparing depreciation, accruals, and prepayments journals 
• Preparing monthly vessel accounting 
• Communicating with vessel Hotel Managers and Assistant Hotel Managers 
• Obtaining a sound understanding of different VAT jurisdictions 
• Liaising with auditors during year end audit 
• Working with Peers at Head office, Malta office and Vessel team 
• Working on other reporting as required
