Our client is seeking to recruit an IT Administrator to join their dynamic team in Malta. Reporting to the IT Service Manager, you will provide 1st and 2nd line support on high profile IT systems whilst ensure monitoring and maintenance of these systems throughout. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Monitor and maintain the IT systems, patch management processes, servers, workstations, and network devices 
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and escalate support issues to 3rd line support
  • Be responsible for installing and configuring security updates and antivirus software 
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure all issues are dressed in accordance with KPI's
  • Provide support and test disaster recovery and fail over procedures
  • Assist with IT compliance and audits 


Education & Experience: 

  • Advanced Diploma in IT plus prior experience working in a similar role
  • Experience on both Windows & Linux 
  • Working experience with networks and systems

  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Good team player whilst also holding the ability to work independently
