In this Human Resources Manager job, you will be involved in the overall management and strategy decisions of the HR functions of group.  Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing, implementing and monitoring HR strategies, systems and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Overseeing employee relations, with the aim of retaining a strong motivation level across the organisation
  • Monitoring, measuring and updating the performance management system to promote career development within the company
  • Implementing policies and procedures, updating official company documents and revising the employee handbook
  • Building and delivering training and development programs
  • Assisting departmental managers with employee relations matters
  • Leading the recruitment and selection process
  • Analyzing and evaluating the overall customer experience across various customer touchpoints

Education and Experience

The vacancy requires:

  • A degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
  • A minimum of 3-5 years HR Management experience
  • Working knowledge of Maltese Legislation and Employment Law
  • Experience working within an unionized environment
  • Excellent skills in both written and spoken English and Maltese
