A new role of HR Manager is now available within the manufacturing industry. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing objectives, strategy, plans, policies and programs in the areas of manpower planning, recruitment, training and development, reward benefits, personnel policy and records administration
  • Monitoring the execution of HR policies throughout and ensuring compliance with the rules and guidelines approved by the Board and CEO
  • Supporting the planning process and ensuring that HR budgets and plans produced for different department form a coherent whole
  • Introducing an effective monitoring and feedback system
  • Providing guidance on HR methods and procedures and developing a code of practices to be followed by all staff
  • Submitting proposals for grants and outside funding as necessary
  • Supporting the provision, implementation and management of the Health and Safety systems
  • Creating a working environment that motivates employees to attain high levels of efficiency

Education and Experience

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Training or a related field is a must
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an HR Manager post
  • In-depth knowledge of Maltese employment law
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Fluency in Maltese and English is a must


  • Ability to assume a leadership role and to demonstrate flexibility and team spirit
  • Negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organization and administration skills
