Job Summary

Assists the Outlet Chef in supervising the functioning of the kitchen and its facilities; in controlling on an on-going basis, the quality levels of food production and presentation, guest satisfaction, cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene.  Ensuring optimum performance at all times.


  • Assists in the production, preparation and presentation of all food items to ensure highest quality at all times.
  • Establishes and maintains effective employee relations and good working relationships both in kitchen and service.
  • Assists in training plans and takes part in on-the-job training sessions for kitchen employees.
  • Assists in the preparation of menus / special menus
  • Inspects all perishable food items received and those in stock.


  • A good standard of education, preferably an ITS graduate; Possess good standards in preparation of dishes and be innovative in his/her working approach;
  • Able to work on own initiative; Willing to work flexible hours;
  • A minimum of 1 year working experience in a similar position will be considered an asset.
