Engineer - Quality and Design


JOB TYPE: Full Time JOB LEVEL: Graduate

Within this Engineer job, you will be based in Malta forming part of a small team, supporting  at all aspects of international procurement and product management operations related to product design, analysis, testing and quality.  Main duties are as follows:

  • Liaise with suppliers and client's
  • Follow up, lead product projects as required
  • Produce necessary drawings:  technical and exploded drawings; as well as 3D rendering of products
  • Creation of criteria for inspections when visiting suppliers / factories
  • Test products and provide detailed test reports - according to EU standards and regulations
  • Inspect product prior to dispatch

Education and Experience

  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Basic knowledge in design is a must - with design experience in plumbing, sanitary, furniture and other related products seen as an asset
  • Computer literate - MS Office and engineering design software
  • Knowledge of Solidworks and AutoCAD is preferable
  • Excellent level of English is a must
  • Other languages considered an asset, with Dutch and French given priority
  • Currently residing in Malta
