Job vacancy: Process Technician

The Position
Working within a highly skilled team with a strong focus on operational improvements, as a Process Technician, you will be responsible for supporting our operational activity.

You will be responsible for continuous improvement in machine uptime, through preventive and corrective maintenance, and above all identify and implement improvement projects that are directly linked to production equipment, working closely with operators, setters, supervisors, shift managers, process technicians and engineers through various lean initiatives, increment production output and quality within a framework of controlled costs. In addition, you would always need to adhere to cGMP, company policies and procedures, EHS, good engineering working principles and the relevant regulations at all times.

The position is on a full time, 3-shift basis.

The Applicant:

  • We are looking for a technically competent person, possession of a diploma in the Engineering field of MQF level 4 or higher;
  • Although full training will be given, ideally the applicant should have a strong engineering background commensurate with hands-on experience;
  • Applicants should have excellent troubleshooting skills and possess the ability to analyse problems rationally, provide solutions and implement actions within cross-functional teams;
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing industry will be considered an asset.
