JOB TYPE: Full Time JOB LEVEL: Experienced

Our client is looking to recruit for an Accounts Clerk vacancy in Malta. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and updating of bank accounts, transactions and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Inputting of supplier invoices into Shireburn accounting software
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register
  • Performing monthly reporting or other nominal ledger postings 
  • Preparing and processing supplier payments
  • Preparing ad hoc monthly reports for management
  • Carrying out other general accounting duties as may be required
  • Preparing vat returns and assisting in annual statutory audit

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Advanced knowledge and usage of Microsoft Excel
  • A level in Accounts or better
  • Currently living in Malta

  • Have excellent communication and organization skills
  • Self-motivated and efficient 
  • Good communication skills in both written and spoken English and Maltese
  • Be a good team player
