Accounts Clerk (Maltese Speaking)

JOB TYPE: Full Time JOB LEVEL: Experienced

One of our clients, in the industrial services industry in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Accounts Clerk (Maltese Speaking) to join their team on a full-time basis.

The ideal candidate must be a self-motivated person ready to work in a dynamic team, with excellent communication and organisational skills, and has the drive to learn and advance.

Selected Candidate will be responsible for:

  • Inputting sales and purchase invoices;
  • Chasing debtors and preparing payments to creditors;
  • Filing of documents;
  • Preparing Bank reconciliations & carrying out ancillary duties;
  • Preparing other accounts reports;
  • Completing VAT returns.

Minimum Qualifications Required:
  • Applicants must have a minimum of O' Level standard in Accounts and/or an AAT qualification.

Minimum Accounting Experience Required:

  • Applicants must have a working knowledge of debits and credits and accounts payable.

Additional Requirements:

  • Applicants must be fluent in both Maltese & English;
  • Possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
  • A high level of integrity;
  • Strong organisational skills.
