Gulf Med Aviation Services in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Auditor to join their team on a part-time basis. The chosen candidate will be reporting to the Quality Manager and Accountable Manager in reference to the Quality System.

Job Purpose:
Gulf Med Aviation Services Ltd is an EASA approved P145 Maintenance Organization performing line and base maintenance on B412, AW139, AW189 & EC135 Helicopters. The organization requires an auditor with technical experience to join the team and perform audits on a routine monthly basis. This role takes place in Safi and required travel to Gozo once a month and also potential international travel.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform audits i.a.w the approved annual audit plan for the P145 Maintenance;
  • Organisation line and base maintenance facilities;
  • Perform audits on Vendor/Suppliers i.a.w with annual audit plan;
  • Perform audits on subcontracted organisations as may be applicable;
  • Raise findings if applicable;
  • Work with auditees to close findings raised;
  • Audit results inputting into the Safety Key Performance Indicator (SPI) SMS system;
  • Participate in the Quality Department Continuous Improvement programme.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Lead Auditor Trained;
  • Experienced in the EASA environment;
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001-2015;
  • Is actively performing audits in the P145 Maintenance Organisation environment;
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel;
  • Organised, methodical, critical thinker, self-motivated, detail orientated, good communication skills and team player;
  • Preferably experienced with helicopter maintenance operations;
  • Desirable to have familiarity with at least one type of helicopter maintained by the organization.
