Stores Supervisor

Construct Furniture in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Stores Supervisor to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented store supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse and inventory management. As a store supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, managing stock levels, and ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers. You will also be responsible for supervising a team of warehouse staff and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks to ensure stock levels are optimized
• Coordinate with purchasing and sales teams to ensure timely delivery of goods to customers
• Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring they adhere to safety and quality standards
• Develop and implement efficient warehouse processes to improve productivity and reduce costs
• Monitor and report on warehouse performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse, ensuring all products are stored in the correct location
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations across the company.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in supply chain management, warehouse management and inventory control
• Leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Knowledge of warehouse safety and quality standards
• Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
