About the Department

The Data Solutions team is pivotal in driving business efficiency and operational excellence by leveraging new and cutting-edge technologies and systems, primarily focusing on the Authority’s supervision and electronic records management processes. The team is dedicated to the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Authority’s new digital solutions and ensuring its alignment with business objectives, thereby enhancing data quality, integrity, user productivity and the overall user experience.

 

About the Role

As a Senior Pega Solution Architect, you will design, develop, and implement applications using the Pega Platform to streamline business processes and drive digital transformation. You will play a key role in translating business requirements into robust and scalable technical solutions while adhering to Pega best practices and industry standards.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Solution Architecture: Design scalable solution architectures using Pega that align with strategic objectives. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and develop robust, establish digital flow and data blueprints.
  • Business Process Optimisation: Leverage Pega's BPM and Case Management features to model, automate, and optimize business processes. Implement decision strategies, business logic, and exception handling for process automation.
  • System Integration: Integrate Pega applications with other enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, APIs, and message queues. Collaborate with technical teams to manage data exchanges and ensure system interoperability.
  • Solutions Management: Maintain, enhance, and create workflows and configurations for digital systems.
  • Technical Support: Operate and enhance service desk solutions using ITIL best practices.
  • Leadership: Inspire and empower a team of experts, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Quality Assurance: Work with Data Governance, Programme Management and Quality teams to ensure adherence to data quality standards and seamless system integration.
  • Innovation: Evaluate emerging technologies to identify and implement solutions that drive efficiency and leadership in digital adoption.
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough records of system architecture, workflows, and technical considerations for future optimization.

 

About You

We are seeking candidates with:

Qualifications: A qualification at MQF Level 6 in Computer Science or a related field. Alternatively, candidates with at least 15 years of relevant experience will also be considered.

Experience:

  • Development experience and familiarity with Java, Python, and SQL scripting is preferable.
  • At least eight (8) years of experience in implementing digital solutions using Pega, other low-code platforms or CRM solutions like Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, integration protocols (REST/SOAP), and data modeling.

Skills:

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze and improve complex processes.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Teamwork: Proven ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Problem-solving: Ability to analyze complex requirements and design efficient, scalable solutions.
  • Adaptability: Capacity to quickly adopt new technologies and adjust to evolving business needs.
