Bookia in Malta is looking to recruit a PHP/Laravel Developer to join their team on a full-time basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for technical planning, development, and systems integration from definition phase through implementation
- Develop, record, and maintain cutting edge web-based PHP applications on portal plus premium service platformsBuild innovative, state-of-the-art applications
- Ensure HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (jQuery) is valid and consistent across applications
- Utilize backend data services and contribute to increasing existing data services API
- Coordinate with co-developers and keep project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serves as a liaison between development staff and project manager
- Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development
Requirements and Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and Laravel PHP Framework
- Hands-on experience with SQL schema design, SOLID principles, REST API design
- Software testing (PHPUnit)
- Creative and efficient problem solver
- Good communication skills (fluent English speaker and writer)
