Maintenance Manager

A local Group of Companies is seeking a technically sound person to fill the position of Maintenance Manager to join a young growing team. Reporting to the Director and GM, the chosen candidate will lead a team of people and ensure that the department is running smoothly and cost-effectively, by:

• Conduct regular site inspections to identify issues and maintenance requirements.
• Develop weekly maintenance schedules and assign tasks based on projected workloads.
• Coordinate maintenance teams to execute daily cleaning and upkeep tasks.
• Supervise all repair activities, ensuring timely completion of work.
• Manage inventory and equipment, ensuring proper storage and availability.
• Enforce adherence to health and safety regulations among maintenance teams.
• Organize preventative maintenance initiatives and follow up on repair work.
• Develop strategies to meet workload demands efficiently.
• Ensure availability of necessary supplies, parts, and equipment for assigned tasks.
• Prepare work sites, including setting up ladders, and scaffolding, and utilizing hand and power tools.
• Transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites as required.
• Ensure thorough cleanup of job sites at the end of each shift, returning company tools and materials.
• Maintain a professional image representing the company, including wearing provided uniforms and PPE, practicing good grooming and personal hygiene, and maintaining effective communication with customers and colleagues.

• Strong attention to detail and good analytical and problem solving skills
• Demonstrates confidence in his abilities and be hands on
• Exhibits good communication skills with customers, colleagues and superiors at all times
• maintain and grow relationship with clients
• Recent experience in a similar role is a must

• Able to handle power tools, to follow basic technical instructions.
