HandyMan in Hotel

We are looking for a skilled and reliable HandyMan to join our team at our client's hotel. As a HandyMan, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various aspects of the hotel to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our guests. Your attention to detail and ability to handle various tasks will be crucial in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems to identify issues and make necessary repairs
• Respond to guest requests for repairs in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies and ensure they are in good working condition
• Keep all areas of the hotel clean and organized, including storage areas and maintenance rooms
• Assist with setting up and breaking down equipment for events and meetings
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure all maintenance needs are met
• Adhere to all safety and security protocols to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a HandyMan or similar role
• Knowledge of general maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Knowledge of safety and security protocols
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
