CNC Operator (Furniture Manufacturing)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator – Furniture to join our furniture manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality furniture components. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining high production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to cut, shape, and finish wood and other materials used in furniture manufacturing.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders.

• Load raw materials into machines and ensure proper alignment.

• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and make necessary adjustments.

• Conduct quality control checks to ensure components meet specifications.

• Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

• Collaborate with production and design teams to improve efficiency and quality.

• Document production data and report any issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator, preferably in furniture manufacturing.

• Familiarity with CNC programming and software.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

• Strong mechanical and mathematical skills.

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Understanding of workplace safety standards.

Education and Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in CNC operation within a furniture manufacturing environment (preferred).
