Loss Prevention Officer

Malta Marriott Hotel & Spa is currently looking to recruit a Loss Prevention Officer to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:

Main responsibilities:

• Allow authorised persons to enter the property including searching duties, monitoring entrances and exits and assisting guests with room access
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Perform security controls of designated areas on foot
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure that authorised removal of property is conducted within appropriate procedures
• Monitor security feeds and conduct daily physical hazard inspections
• Respond to accidents and assist guests/employees during emergencies
• Defuse guest disturbances and escort individuals from the property if necessary
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and facilitate interviews with relevant parties
• Complete required shift reports and maintain confidentiality of all loss prevention documents.
