Renewable Energy Broker (UK market)

Job Description
Commerg Ltd is looking to recruit a Renewable Energy Broker (UK market) to grow a portfolio of customers for the UK Market. You will be supported by the Renewables Desk Manager who is highly experienced in Environmental Markets, brokering, and deal structuring.

COMMERG Renewables Brokers Team:
We are based in Sliema, Malta. The Brokers team consists of 8 market specialists who have a strong commercial drive, are ambitious, eager to learn, entrepreneurial to investigate new markets, not satisfied until they have found a solution for a problem, and act as team players.

Job Description:
You will be responsible for:

• Building your own customer portfolio;
• Maintaining the existing customer portfolio;
• Becoming the main information source for your customer portfolio;
• Matching buyers with sellers and proposing (new) deal structures;
• Closing deals!
• Follow up with your deals with the help of the Back-Office.

Job Requirements:

• 0-5 years of commercial experience (preferably in brokering or sales);
• Fluent/native verbal and written communication in the English language;
• A diploma or university degree in business or sustainability;
• Interest for renewable energy;
• Affinity with finance/commodities/brokering;
• Strong commercial drive and a proactive attitude;
• Eager to learn and work hard.
