Eyewear Specialist / Optical Retail Salesperson

Vision Opticians in Malta is currently looking to recruit Eyewear Specialists/Optical Retail Salespersons to join their team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate must be smart, outgoing, and dynamic personnel for their chain of optical shops.

*Candidates applying MUST be residing in Malta and have a valid work permit.

Requirements: 

• Be able to communicate fluently in Maltese and English;
• Applicants are expected to have their own transport;
• Be willing to work flexible retail hours including weekends and public holidays in a number of outlets across the island;
• Retail experience is considered an asset.

• Your job will entail sales of frames and lenses, reading an ophthalmic prescription, handling doctors' appointments, sales of sunglasses as well as sales of other optical accessories;
• Successful applicants shall be given all the necessary training in optical and sunglasses dispensing.
