The Business manages the importation and distribution of a broad portfolio of well-known brands recognised for their quality, consistency, and strong market presence, offering a dynamic and fast-paced commercial environment.

Role Overview
Heroix is collaborating with a leading retail distribution business to recruit a Brand Manager who will take ownership of a varied brand portfolio. This role plays a key part in shaping brand strategy, driving market performance, and supporting ongoing business growth through effective planning, execution, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Portfolio Management: Oversee and develop a diverse range of established and emerging brands, ensuring strong market positioning and alignment with commercial objectives.
  • Marketing Strategy & Planning: Create, implement, and continuously refine brand and marketing plans to drive visibility, sales growth, and long-term brand equity.
  • Execution & Performance Monitoring: Ensure marketing initiatives and promotional activities are delivered on schedule while tracking daily brand performance and market trends.
  • Sales Collaboration: Work closely with sales teams to align brand initiatives with sales targets, promotional campaigns, and overall business goals.
  • Supplier & Business Development Engagement: Liaise with brand owners and suppliers, manage reporting requirements, support promotional rollouts, and contribute actively to continuous business development initiatives.

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in brand management, marketing, or a commercial role within a retail, distribution, or consumer-focused environment.
  • Language Skills: Good command of Maltese will be a strong asset, while a strong command of English is required to succeed in this role. 
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Confident relationship-builder who enjoys collaborating across departments and influencing stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data, assess market trends, and support informed decision-making.
  • Organisation: Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple brands, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Self-Motivated: Proactive, driven, and results-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Problem-Solving: Quick-thinking and solution-focused, with the confidence to make timely decisions in a fast-moving environment.
