Multigas Ltd in Malta is looking to recruit an energetic Plant Operator to join their team on a full-time basis. The selected candidates will form part of a team of Plant Operators who rotate on a shift roster basis to cover 24/7 plant operation.
The main duties for this role are to:
- Monitor, optimise the operation of two Air Separation Units, as well as a start-up the plants according to stock demands;
- You shall run the cylinder filling stations.
Requirements:
- Knowledge in physics and fluid dynamics will be a good foundation for this role;
- However, possession of a Diploma in a Technical Subject or an A-level standard in two science subjects coupled with 2 years experience in a similar role is being requested;
- The ideal candidate shall be a methodical person, multitasking, able to work independently and handle pressure;
- Experience in the field of air-conditioning, refrigerants, thermodynamics, gases, and/or applied physics shall also be considered as an asset.

Multigas operates from its facilities in Malta, an island in the Mediterranean that forms part of the European Union. The Kirkop site is located near the island's international airport and boasts among other things a state-of-the-art air separation plant, a cylinder filling depot, and a retail outlet for tools and equipment.
