Our client is a renowned company on the Maltese islands. They have a job opportunity of a Head of Operations as they are growing
The Role
You will manage the operation and ensure that what is promised to clients is delivered whilst ensuring that quality is maintained
Ensure that there is the required staffing to meet the demands of the operations
Do ongoing, routine checks on all work venues
Give training to staff members where necessary
Ensure that all KPI's are reached, if not take corrective actions were necessary
Improve efficiency were necessary and also ensure that any waste and unnecessary costs are curbed
Responsible for maintaining standards of food safety, Quality, health and safety, hygiene, and security
in the work environment in line with QA team
Develop Food Safety Culture within the organisation
Liaise with the Engineer/Head of Facility and ensure that all the facilities and equipment are maintained well and in accordance to company and regulatory standards
Responsible for implementing operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and
reviews
Ensure store operations are functioning smoothly (planning, coordinating, monitoring: receiving and
issuing of materials in the store
Storekeeping procedures are appliedas per company guidelines whilst ensuring accurate recording
Ensure that food stock is kept in safe and monitored environment
Ensure that all the products are delivered on time to clients
Ensure that all logistics are well planned and schedule
Requirements
Qualified by a minimum diploma in any food related major or equivalent related work experience
Proven track record of achieving budgeted results while maintaining quality and improving operations
Sound Knowledge about Food Safety & Quality Management Systems
Proven Multi-Tasking Skills
Proven Time Management skills
Ability to gather and analyse data and to work with figures
Have a minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
