We are currently seeking a Sales and Business Development Specialist on a Full Time basis .
The candidate will be required to build and strengthen business relationships within the Hospitality industry.
Responsibilities
Creating development plans.
Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking and other channels.
Engage and develop new distribution partners for continued expansion and growth.
Meeting existing and potential clients and building positive relationships to promote the company.
Maintaining connections with key owners and agencies in the relevant geographic area.
Liaising with colleagues to develop strategies.
Engaging with stakeholders to deliver results.
Following the market.
Preparing and negotiating designer and subcontractor agreements using company-approved processes and documentation.
Preparing financial projections and company targets.
Attending events such as industry outreach and informational conferences to gain local contacts and identify possible project work for the company.
Preparing presentations and participating in meetings.
Producing reports for management.
Upholding and living the values of the organization and industry.
To embody company values and ethics in all interactions with personal and professional contacts.
Requirements
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and interpersonal skills for dealing with internal and external customers.
Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
Must have strong computer knowledge with the use of various software programs including MS Office.
General knowledge of business law and legal ramifications with respect to subcontracts and procurement requirements.
Ability and desire to learn and apply new concepts, processes and approaches.
Must have the ability to adapt to new and challenging situations.
Ability to handle a high volume of work with changing priorities.
Ability to review, analyse and assist in the creation and development of contractual documents and competently articulate requirements verbally and in writing.
