Motor Claims Handler (Maltese & English Speaking)

UNITED HUMAN RESOURCES LTD in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Motor Claims Handler (Maltese & English Speaking) to join their client's team on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities:

1. Providing information about insurance policies to customers over the phone or in person
2. Updating insurance forms with personal information such as name, address, birth date, social security number, and driver’s license number
3. Processing insurance claims by collecting documentation from clients, evaluating claim information for completeness, negotiating with insurance companies on behalf of clients, and communicating with other departments within an organization
4. Processing payments received from customers for insurance policies using an automated system
5. Calculating premiums based on risk factors such as age, gender, location, occupation, etc.
6. Processing insurance claims payments using an automated system
7. Processing applications for new insurance policies and updating customer records with policy details
8. Processing insurance claims by contacting claimants, appraising vehicle damages making payment arrangements with repair shops or contractors
9. Updating records of insurance policies by entering information about premiums, claim status, and payments.

Skill-sets and Requirements:

1. Written, spoken and good communication skills in Maltese and English
2. Negotiation, communication and time management skills
3. Technical knowledge of Motor Claims would be considered an asset
4. Preference will be given to candidates with a Diploma in Insurance.
