The HR Manager shall be responsible for the overall HR function at ARAFA Services and act as a professional, competent person.  

Perform the General duties of an HR Manager:

  • Acting as the Competent person in relation to the Temping license and performing all duties accordingly
  • Liaising very regularly with all HR Managers/CEOs of ARAFA Services’ Clients to ensure that the Service Agreements are in place and that the employees are abiding to the Policies and Procedures of the Clients and that the time-sheets, including the hours of work of each employee, are generated in a timely manner for payroll purposes
  • Coordinating with all stakeholders and employees, as needed, to ensure that the employees are receiving regular training and have all the documents and requirements in place to be able to perform their duties whilst working in the Company they are assigned to
  • Facilitating the training of staff
  • Assisting and monitoring the whole recruitment and onboarding process to ensure that the employees have all the necessary documents and are suitable to work with the Clients
  • Updating the Employee Handbook, Contracts of Employments, Addendums, Service Agreements and Internal Policies and Procedures 
  • Carrying out Performance Appraisals, when and as required 
  • Providing guidance and feedback to help others strengthen, and enhancing their knowledge/skills and identifying the training needs of staff
  • Ensuring that engagement, termination forms and any other relevant documents are in place
  • Keeping abreast with the Employment laws, Labour policies and HR trends and making sure that all processes are in line
  • Overseeing the whole payroll process and ensuring that all salaries are paid on time
  • Communicating with and supporting all the employees, thus ensuring that they are informed and updated about any new policies and procedures, Addendums and increments, amongst others
  • Any other task required by Management or Employer.

Requirements:

  • Is a Maltese Citizen or someone who is entitled to equal treatment to Maltese citizens residing in Malta
  • Either have more than 6 years’ experience in human resources or three years’ experience in an HR position and in possession of a university degree that is relevant to Management
  • Provide a reference letter  
  • Has excellent communication (verbal and writing) skills.
