Job Summary:

Melia Hotels International is seeking a seasoned and committed Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. You will be integral in overseeing daily operations, leading staff, and ensuring exceptional service standards are consistently met.

Responsibilities:

  • All responsibilities listed for Waiter/Waitress/F&B Server, plus:
  • Effectively manage shifts, overseeing all service and staff performance aspects.
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings to brief staff on daily specials, events, and service expectations.
  • Complete and sign off on all required checklists for opening, closing, and throughout service.
  • Train and develop team members to maintain high service standards and product knowledge.
  • Assist with recruitment processes, including interviews and onboarding new staff.
  • Enhance and maintain a positive workplace culture that aligns with our values.
  • Implement and manage staff incentive programs to boost motivation and performance.
  • Support the Assistant F&B manager in all aspects of operations as needed.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of Management experience in a fast-paced restaurant or bar setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage service, health and safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and POS systems.
