Mediterranean Cuisine Chef Wanted (Mellieha Area)

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Mediterranean Cuisine Chef to join our team in the beautiful Mellieha area. As a Mediterranean Cuisine Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and authentic dishes that showcase the flavors and ingredients of the Mediterranean region. Your creativity, attention to detail, and knowledge of traditional cooking techniques will be essential in this role. Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that feature a variety of Mediterranean dishes
- Prepare and cook dishes according to traditional recipes and techniques
- Ensure high quality and presentation of all dishes
- Manage inventory and order necessary ingredients and supplies
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and service
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with management to develop new and innovative dishes
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards
- Stay updated on current food trends and incorporate them into menu offerings

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mediterranean Cuisine Chef or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine and cooking techniques
- Ability to create and execute menus that showcase the flavors of the region
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
