Housekeeping Supervisor

Prestige Travel Marketing Ltd is looking to recruit a Housekeeping Supervisor to join their team at the San Anton Hotel on a full-time basis.

Job Overview:

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be leading our team of room attendants and ensuring we provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities include organising employee shifts, training, and motivating team members, and checking private and public areas for tidiness. To be successful in this role, the chosen candidate should have a good understanding of sanitisation regulations and team management abilities. Ultimately, the chosen candidate will help ensure that our daily housekeeping operations run smoothly and that guests are satisfied.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides friendly, courteous and professional service at all times 
• Ensures the highest standard of cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors and the heart of house area of the floors 
• Inspecting the occupied and departure rooms, giving special attention to the guests’ needs 
• Manage guest requests, including VIP amenities and communicate them to the team members 
• Be good at decision-making and have good knowledge of customer service principles 
• Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence 
• Report maintenance issues to the maintenance department 
• Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships 
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation 
• Assist the Executive Housekeeper with training requirements.

Requirements and skills:  

• Have excellent communication and fluency in English; in reading, writing and speaking 
• Work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or a similar role 
• Ability to use industrial equipment and products 
• Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job 
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
