Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Our client is a renowned company in Malta. They would like to engage a Chief Finance Officer (CFO) to join their team. You will report directly into the CEO 

The Role

• You will manage financial strategy, planning, and operations to ensure stability and growth.
• You will oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, cost optimization, and revenue growth strategies to maximize shareholder value.
• You will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and transparent communication with stakeholders.
• You will manage accounting, tax, treasury, and audit functions, ensuring adherence to corporate governance standards.
• A key responsibility is risk management, including enforcing financial controls and overseeing internal and external audits.
• You will lead portfolio management, investment strategies, capital structuring, and financing decisions to support expansion.
• You will play a vital role in mergers, acquisitions, and strategic financial initiatives to drive business success.
• Collaboration with the executive team is essential to enhance business performance and decision-making at the C-suite level.
• You will engage with banks, investors, and funding institutions, negotiating financial agreements for company growth.
• You will oversee team leadership, digital transformation, and automation to improve financial efficiency and data-driven decisions.

• You are a fully qualified accountant and preferably warranted
• You will have a minimum of 3 years experience in a senior finance management role
• You must have proven leadership skills
• You must have strong communication skills
