Technical Team Leader

A new Technical Team Leader role is available within the manufacturing industry. Whilst reporting to the CEO and GM and working alongside an external HSE Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

• Acting as the first point of contact and accountable for shop-floor, production and plant facility’s upkeep in accordance with health and safety procedures, quality guidelines, and operations
• Supervising and training the maintenance team and the quality assurance team  
• Coordinating preventative and corrective maintenance tasks to meet all standards for safety, quality and efficiency
• Identifying faults and troubleshooting wherever possible
• Coordinating with third parties to maintain and upgrade as required the IT infrastructure to ensure the rapidly evolving automation requirements are well served.
• Provide production, progress, or changeover reports
• Determining the feasibility of internal projects and assisting in preparing cost estimates
• Performing project management duties in relation to the internal production implementations and auditing, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders from inception to completion
• Coordinating site logistics, monitoring progress, certifying payments and managing the variation process
• Handling cost/budget control, producing project delivery budgets and reviewing such at all stages from procurement through to project hand-over
