Our client, a growing international business specialising in investments, asset and property management, is looking for an experienced Company Secretary to join their team in Malta.
Responsibilities:
Drafting board resolutions
Assisting in shareholder meetings, statutory filings and maintanence of corporate records
Submissions of company’s changes with the relevant authorities
Carry out day-to-day administration including corporate work, organising and attending board meetings, preparing board packs and taking down minutes
Ensure records are properly maintained and compliant with local legislations including file reviews/KYC updates, conducting due diligence when necessary
Filing, scanning of files, archiving and updating of information on relevant system within the set deadlines.
Deal with authorities, banks, auditors and other service providers
Provide information / statistics as may be required by Team Leader/Manager and other departments within set timeframe
Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, guidelines, including internal policies and procedures
Any other as hoc duties in line with your capabilities
Skill-sets and Requirements
5 years or more of previous local experience in a similar position
Candidates with a legal background will be given preference
Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
Dynamic, committed and proactive
Education & Experience
Degree in Law, Management (Business Administration) or Accounting and Finance or any other related fields
