Risk Manager

One of our International clients within the Insurance sector is looking for a Risk Manager to report to the CEO and the Risk Committee.

Duties: 

• The risk management function of the Company
• Drafting of ORSA, SFCR, RSR reports and any other ad-hoc risk management reports as required by the regulator
• Review of policies in conjunction with the Compliance Manager
• Presenting on risk management metrics including dashboards and emerging risks to the Risk and Compliance Committee and the Board
• Identifying, analysing and measuring risks and capturing these in a risk register
• Liaising with the actuarial function holder and the internal actuary on reserving and technical provisions and compilation of stressed scenarios for ORSA reporting
• Liaising with the Compliance Officer on MFSA requirements and reporting
•  Advising management on ways to mitigate risks and improve processes and procedures
•  Advising management and the Board on any new emerging risks and their impact on the Company
•  Liaising with MFSA on any topics related to risk
• Heading the Product Committee and maintaining the product register
• Periodic review of the operational model in the countries of operation
•  Additional reporting and analysis as requested by management
