Veterinary Representative

V.J. Salomone Consumer Lines in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Veterinary Representative to join their team on a full/part-time basis.

Overview:
This position calls for a persuasive and driven individual with a can-do attitude who would represent Hill’s Pet Nutrition as the strategic partner of choice in animal nutrition to specified veterinary customers.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Fostering and developing new business relationships
• Understanding the customers’ business and requirements
• Visiting Vet Clinics and Animal Hospitals regularly 
• Organizing briefing meetings as well as seminars
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in veterinary medicine and nutrition
• Maintaining a detailed knowledge of the Company’s products and services.

Role Requirements:

• A degree in Veterinary Sciences
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications
• Conversant in both Maltese and English
• Excellent negotiating and writing skills
• A valid driving license
• Previous sales experience in the veterinary, nursing, pharmaceutical or nutrition industry will be considered as an asset.
