Are you passionate about maritime law and administration? The Malta Maritime Law Association (MMLA) is looking for a dynamic and organized Administration Executive to join this respected and long-standing association.
Who are we?
The MMLA is a non-profit making, voluntary organisation which was set up in 1994 to promote the study and advancement of maritime law and its administration. The MMLA plays a key role in ensuring that the Maltese maritime legislative and regulatory infrastructure is constantly updated and revised which consolidates Malta’s position as an international maritime service centre. For such purpose, the MMLA is regularly consulted by Maltese authorities on Maritime law matters. The MMLA also regularly organises seminars on topical issues, most of which are addressed by prominent industry personalities.

Your Role:
As our Administration Executive, you will:
1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Association.
2. Manage and coordinate projects undertaken by the Association.
3. Organize workshops, seminars, and conferences.
4. Maintain and update the Association’s websites and social media presence.
5. Attend and provide administrative support at meetings of the executive committee, its subcommittees, and relevant authorities.
Your Qualities:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual with the following skills and qualities:
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Fluent in both written and spoken Maltese and English.
- Flexible, with the willingness to adapt to varying schedules during weekdays when required.
- Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experienced in report compilation and writing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in an administrative role will be considered an asset.
