Assistant Finance Manager

Our client, a private educational institution is seeking to recruit an Assistant Finance Manager to assist their current Finance Manager. The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Bank reconciliations and postings of journal entries
• Supporting in monthly payroll
• Chasing of debtors and assisting with creditors reconciliations
• Overseeing client accounts
• Cashing due amounts
• Participating in Finance committee meetings and respond to any related queries
• Assisting with month end reporting
• Any other duty which may be required from time to time

• Minimum 3 years working experience in a similar role
• Fluency in English and Maltese, both verbal and written
• Possess excellent intrapersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
• Demonstrates flexibility, resilience, and the ability to multitask

• An A level in Accounting
• Candidates holding an AAT or actively studying ACCA will be given preference
