Accounts Manager

Our client is looking to recruit an Accounts Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Partner
• Leading the finance team
• Managing a portfolio of clients and the handling of day to day operational requirements and client requests;
• The compilation of VAT and TAX returns as required for client accounts
• Advising and assisting clients on VAT compliance and Tax queries
• Ensuring high-quality service to clients.
• Ensuring deadlines are consistently met
• Keeping up to date with legislation and conducting continuous research on VAT technical matters.
• Ensuring that clients meet and adhere to all tax compliance requirements;
• Ensuring conformity with International Accounts Standards;
• Any other duties that may be required for the smooth running of the department

• Previous experience in leading a senior team
• 3 years post qualification experience in a similar role locally is a must
• Strong knowledge of Maltese VAT and Tax framework

• Fully Qualified accountant
