Accounts Executive

Our client, a reputable family-owned business within the Technology sector, is seeking an independent Accounts Executive to join their team in Malta. Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable as part of daily accounting tasks.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping by handling bank reconciliations and petty cash transactions.
• Process invoices, payments, and expense claims promptly.
• Maintain the General Ledger up to the Trial Balance stage.
• Assist with audit preparations and NSO submissions, including tax and VAT returns.
• Support both month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Reconcile payroll with Timesheets and internal Excel reports, and assist with payroll-related tasks.
• Take on additional finance-related responsibilities as required.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Previous local experience in a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Diploma in accounting.
• Experience with Shireburn software is a plus.
