Accounts Executive

MCConsult & Associates Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit an Accounts Executive to join their team on a full-time basis. 

Job Role:
The selected candidate will report directly to the CEO and Managing Director.

Responsibilities Include:

• Keeping books of account and posting transactions in SAGE 50
• Issuing of quotes & invoices
• Preparing bank and other reconciliations (debtors, creditors)
• Debtor chasing
• Saving incoming supplier invoices and updating the necessary records
• Ensuring databases and filing systems are up to date
• Inputting of purchases and receipts from authorities
• Preparation of supplier payments
• Keeping Fixed Asset schedule
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Preparing FSS calculations and returns
• Preparing Management Accounts
• Liaising with independent auditors
• Applying for schemes and grants
• Dealing with Government authorities
• Dealing with clients’ queries and emails
• Performing other duties that may arise.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

• At least 3 years experience in a similar role
• Experience in a corporate, accountant or audit firm is considered an asset
• Experience in Sage 50
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounts or a related field is a plus
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Fluency in English is required and fluency in Maltese and other languages is an asset
• Be already a resident of Malta.
