Accounts Clerk (Part-time)

We’re currently working with a long-standing client in the events industry, recruiting for a Part-Time Accounts Clerk to support their finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to work reduced hours while still being involved in a dynamic and creative environment.

Reporting to the company’s accountant, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Issuing and following up on client invoices
• Chasing outstanding payments and managing the debtors list
• Assisting in preparing Profit & Loss extracts and other financial reports
• Supporting client billing processes across multiple projects
• Providing input on payroll-related tasks, particularly time and attendance tracking
• Performing general finance and admin duties as needed

• Minimum of 1 year of local experience in an accounting or finance support role
• A good grasp of invoicing, debt collection, and reporting basics
• Familiarity with accounting software Xero would be an asset but not a requirement
• Comfort working in a fast-paced and project-based environment
• Strong organisational skills and a proactive, self-motivated approach
• Fluency in both Maltese and English
