Accounts Clerk

A Local Group of Companies is currently on the lookout for an Accounts Clerk to join their growing team

Duties include:

• Posting of general ledgers, income and expenditure 
• Allocating creditor payments 
• To post any other accounting entries which may be assigned from time to time.
• VAT Returns 
• Raising any discrepancies or deviations from accounting policies and procedures 
• Preparation of monthly reconciliations and compiling reports where needed
• Providing recommendations to increase efficiency and ensure all data is compliant
• To close monthly and quarterly Management Accounts

• Have at least 2 years of local experience in a similar position;
• Have a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications especially MS Excel
• Be an effective team player
• An eye for detail and highly organised

• Holds an A Level in Accounts
