Accounts Assistant Manager

Our client, operating in the Aviation industry, is searching for a Accounts Assistant Manager to join their growing team: 

Responsibilities:

• Support the Accounts Manager in managing financial operations and accounting processes.
• Contribute to financial analysis and oversight of accounting activities under the guidance of the Accounts Manager.
• Assist in managing the daily functions of the accounting department, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger tasks.
• Prepare reports and summaries to inform management about key operational areas as needed.
• Aid in the month-end process to ensure timely and accurate submission of management accounts.
• Help in preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Provide mentorship to the accounting team and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies to support audits and maintain compliance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and enhance job knowledge through ongoing professional development.
• Perform any additional tasks necessary to ensure the effective operation of the company.

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting.
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• SAGE experience will be consider an asset
