Accounting Manager

A client of ours specialised in Business and Financial sector is looking to onboard an Accounting Manager to join their team of professionals. The designated person will be working closely with the CEO and responsibilities are as follows:

Duties:

• Responsible for maintaining accurate and up to date accounting records
• Preparation of management accounts and ensuing this is done in an accurate and timely manner
• Reviewing and implementing financial reporting processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, transparency and efficiency at all times
• Oversee the day-to-day management of the financial function
• Responsible for preparation of annual budgets and cashflow
• Analysing and interpreting financial and other related data, whilst also supporting management in related decision-making
• Responsible for the management of the procurement function.
• Continuously keeping close and liaising with the various teams

• A minimum of 3 years working in a similar role
• A self-starting individual with the ability to identify and prioritise tasks as well as take ownership, responsibility and work with a team
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and in Maltese
• Commendable leadership skills and the ability to supervise the team and provide guidance

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field
